Default Judgement

Default judgment may be taken for the following reasons:
1. The defendant does not give notice of an intention to defend, i.e. the matter is undefended
2. The defendant does not file a plea within the prescribed time period
3. The plaintiff does not deliver a declaration or is barred from doing so
4. The plaintiff or defendant does not appear at trial.
